In 3D printing to create solid resin objects, UV curable resins are used which are deposited in a layered manner using UV technology. There are also UV resins in the form of GEL dispensable via injectors, similar to filament FDM technology.
The UV power emitted allows it to be accurately dosed to obtain different polymerizations depending on the application.
