The distinctive characteristic of microwave powered lamps, which have been on the market for the last 40 years, is their electrode-less mercury vapour bulb.
This gives the system an exceptional stability in its UV spectrum and output, increases the life of the bulb (which can be up to thousands of hours), enables almost instantaneous on/off switching, and allows a reduced bulb diameter (corresponding to very high UV intensity).
These bulbs also feature a great variety of spectrums, for better suiting the chemistry formulation to be cured, with no impact on the stability of the UV emission or on the life of the bulb.
The system is available in two standard lengths, 150mm and 250mm, which are completely modular to respond to any installation requirement.
The specific power output ranges from 120 to 240 W/cm at both fixed and variable power outputs and uses the latest generation solid-state technology.
