The Covid-19 pandemic reports increasing evidence of contaminated environment being highly significant in pathogen transmission; high-touch surfaces in particular seem to be a source of infection and contamination posing a major risk in spreading the virus.
Thus the importance of disinfection of the environment and in particular high-touch surfaces in health care facilities and more in general public places.
With traditional cleaning and disinfection up to 30% of the surfaces remain potentailly contaminated.
No-touch UV disinfection technologies however have shown to be very effective in improving significantly decontamination.
